Does it cost anything to work for your company?

Absolutely not! There are NO employment fees at Psychic Access, Inc. We feel the practice of charging people to work is grossly unfair.

Like Keen, do you charge for a featured spot on the site?

No, you don't have to pay anything. All of our psychics will have great exposure because every hour we rotate our psychics. Those who are available for readings are listed first, followed by those who are off-line. Unlike Keen and Kasamba, we only allow one listing per psychic, and we will never add more psychics than we have traffic for.

Is my personal information safe with you?

Absolutely! All personal data is captured and displayed using 256-bit data encryption over a secure Internet connection. Everything is SECURE! Please click on the following Digicert, SecureTrust and TrustGuard logos to verify our credentials.

Do I get penalized for chargebacks and returns?

Only in as much as those readings resulting from chargebacks and returns are deducted from your pay in the form of reversals.

Do I get penalized for fraudulent customers?

If we detect a customer has committed fradulent activity, we must refund all charges made to the rightful owner of the credit card. Unfortunately you will not be compensated for the readings given to customers having commited fraud. We all lose in this case.

Will I be considered an employee of Psychic Access?

No, you'll be an independent contractor, which means you'll be responsible for your own state and federal withholding taxes as well as FICA. In January of each year, you'll receive a 1099, stating your earnings from Psychic Access, Inc. In the event you leave us, it's your responsibility to keep your address current until you receive your final 1099.

How often are we paid?

Twice a month. You'll be paid on the 1st of each month, covering the period of the 16th through the end of the preceding month, and then you'll be paid again on the 16th, covering the period of the 1st through the 15th. If the 1st or the 16th fall on a Friday, a weekend or a holiday, payroll will be pushed back to the next business day.

How do you pay?

We have contracted with a 3rd party (Intuit) to distribute payroll. You can either opt to be paid by Paypal or have your pay electronically deposited into your checking account (for US residents only). These are your only choices. If you live outside of the U.S., you will be paid by Paypal. Please note, we pay the fees for Paypal, you pay nothing.

Will I have to sign a contract?

Yes. Upon hiring, you'll be asked to sign our standard "Independent Contractor's Agreement." This will be made available for you to read anytime online. You will not receive any compensation for services rendered until we have received the signed contract back from you, along with adequate proof of your identity. Proof shall include either a photocopy of a photo ID, a driver's license or a Sheriff's ID. You'll also be required to fill out and sign a W-9 form with your SSN/FID number included. We are required by law to maintain these documents on file.

What do I get paid for?

You're working on a commission basis and earn money when someone buys a private reading with you. For more details on commissions, please click on the "Benefits" section to the left of your screen.

Who sets my hours?

You do. On occasion, we may ask if you can work some extra hours, but you are under no obligation to do so. We do, however, ask you to honor your commitment of 20 hours per week, unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Who sets how much I will charge per minute?

Again, you do. We have a minimum rate of $3.99/minute and a maximum rate of $9.99/minute. Anywhere within that range is acceptable. However, at the maximum rate, don't expect any business. Most psychics are charging between $3.99 and $5.99, but the choice is yours.

When will I know if I'm hired?

Once we receive your application, we'll review it and notify you whether or not we feel you're a good candidate for our site. If you are, we'll set up a telephone interview. When that's complete, we'll verify past employment--wherever possible--and inform you of our decision. This may take up to 3 to 4 days, but could be as soon as 1 or 2 days.

Do you have any non-psychic positions open?

At this time, no. And to be honest, we don't foresee anything becoming available in the immediate future. We're fully staffed at both the management and marketing levels.
