For the last eighteen years, she's been reading for others professionally, and has delved into researching and writing on subjects near and dear to her. She's studied Relationship and Motivational Coaching, and has been employed as a coach for a well-known organization. She's mentored with a personal coach, has trained with Master Shamans, and has continued to work on her Empathic skills. She first became aware of her psychic abilities as a young girl when she realized she could sense as well as see images that weren't apparent to anyone else. It took a lot of years before she could shake off the cultural conditioning she had as a child, which taught her that the use of her psychic sixth sense was wrong. But, by the time she reached her twenties, she had developed her own independent views of what was right and wrong and finally felt ready to embrace her psychic gifts. She has since come to think of her abilities as a blessing bestowed upon her at birth, and has made it her life's purpose to share these gifts with others.

She first became interested in the I Ching, Tarot, Runes, Tea Leaves and various other psychic divination methods in her early twenties. For the next decade or so, she read for friends and family, and honed her skills and Empathic abilities. During that time, she also devoured books by Edgar Cayce, Ruth Montgomery, Alice Bailey, Kahlil Gibrahn, Imanuel Kant, Omar Kyam, etc., and explored Quantum Physics and Metaphysics. In her thirties, she studied Shamanism and continued refining her tarot skills. While busy with marriage and children, these "mystical" things had to take a back seat . . . but not for long. Eventually, she found time to attend college and, once more, she turned her attention to her metaphysical interests. For over thirty years, she has read for friends and family as an Empath and card reader. And for the last fifteen years, she's worked as a professional Empath, offering her clients a broad range of talents she has spent many years mastering. This includes her training as a motivational and relationship coach. As a reader, Heartlight is skilled with Tarot, works with Spirit Guides, and incorporates her natural abilities as an Empath. Childhood memories were replete with incredibly magical and mystical experiences. She spent much of her time in the wonderful forests and on farm lands in the county where she grew up. She recalls the ability to sense things in nature that were not apparent to others. At a very early age, she was aware of a spiritual realm that existed, while at the same time her physical world was unfolding around her. Now in her fifties, she's still learning, growing and so glad to be earning a living by making a difference in the lives of others. She lives what she considers to be a small but valuable life full of joy, contentment and balance, in the Northwestern corner of the United States. She cultivates an attitude of gratitude and endeavors to help solve the world's problems by not being one of the world's problems.
