Anthon inherited his spiritual gifts from his paternal grandmother. He never knew her personally, due to the fact that she crossed over long before his birth. He did inherit a St Christopher amulet from her, which was given to her by another psychic for the protection of his father, when he was an infant. Over the years he has attended numerous courses, seminars and workshops and he also obtained a 9.5 on his PsiQ test, with perfect scores for clairvoyance and psycho kinesis. Anthon also holds a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Pretoria (UP), with additional studies completed at the University of South Africa (UNISA). He is also a certified Yoga and Pilates teacher.

As a young child Anton was fascinated by the paranormal and always involved in some or other psychic game or play activity. He was constantly aware of the presence of his grandmother and many others who are in spirit. Sometimes those of a lower vibration scared him, by slamming doors, visiting him in dreams and paging books he was reading. He never thought it strange or unusual, although other people often found him to be a slightly odd little boy. One unpleasant aspect of his childhood was that he often experienced physical discomfort and symptoms when coming into close proximity to people who were ill or injured.

In his pre-teens Anthon spontaneously began to study subjects like palmistry, mediumship and cartomancy. He also had a keen interest in the life and work of Harry Houdini, as well as anything associated with paranormal research and science. Anthon was also very popular at school, because he offered free and very accurate readings to his classmates in the library during lunch breaks! During his adolescence and early adulthood Anthon made every effort to resist his calling and attempted to suppress his gift. He simply rejected any form of paranormal existence or spiritual awareness, and he rebelled against his natural instincts. However, the urge to help others remained and he decided to study Psychology, with the aim too becoming a clinical therapist. Fortunately, a series of unexpected circumstances and both traumatic and uplifting events in his life forced him to finally confront his resistance and embrace his inherent psychic abilities.

The discovery later in life that he was in fact a psychic empath, and learning how to manage its associated challenges, made the transition much easier for him. Being a psychic empath can be a gift or a curse. It took Anthon years to learn how to protect himself adequately. Only after he reached he achieved this level of psychic survival, did he have the courage to channel his abilities towards reaching out and helping others.

Anthon is a typically mysterious Scorpio, who prefers to make people guess when they ask him his astrological sign. He lives in the economically vibrant province of Gauteng (from the Sesotho word meaning "Place of Gold") in South Africa. Reading is one of his many passions and currently his special interests include the pagan traditions, Indigo children and the ancient Mayan civilization.
