As far back as she can recall, Xyra has possessed the ability to connect with other realms through dreams and/or intuition/clairvoyance. Over time, these skills pushed their way to the forefront, and she began working consciously with Archangels and Energy Healing, such as Reiki.

Xyra has investigated various religious and spiritual disciplines that include: Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Kundalini Yoga, Divine Manifestation, clairvoyance, clairaudience, psychometry, Reiki, Wicca, and Rosicrucianism, but does not follow fully any doctrine laid out by human means. Instead, she keeps an open heart and mind to receive Divine guidance from the source of all knowledge, which transcends caste and creed. Her faith is based on the Cosmic Christ, allowing space for God to show His/Her face, but she never judges others for their religious beliefs. Focusing on the goals, Karma, and gifts of the individual is one of her best qualities. Her philosophy is founded on the belief that realizing our nature as Spiritual beings is vital to attaining true happiness, thus better enabling us to serve the greater good. Her quest for truth includes exploring the inspired works of Edgar Cayce, Rudolph Steiner, Ruth Montgomery, Venice Bloodworth, Ernest Holmes, Isabel Hickey, Doreen Virtue, and others.

In recent years, she ventured to Kona, Hawaii, to study with Doreen Virtue, PhD, and received her certification as a spiritual counselor/Angel Therapy Practitioner® in June, 2009. Following in her maternal grandfather's footsteps, she became a member of the Ordo Rosae Crucis. Other areas of study have included: Kundalini Yoga under Yogi Bhajan; Musical Voice, Divine Manifestation, and Healing with Margurite Haymes; Psychic Mediumship with Dianne Nogorka at the National Spiritual Science Center; and Psychometry and Clairvoyance vs Telepathy with the honorable Rev. B. Anne Gehman. Xyra is always interested in obtaining knowledge for her clients and refining it with the pearls of wisdom she has naturally acquired over the years.

Xyra displayed psychic abilities from early childhood, from predicting deaths and having precognitive dreams to hearing divine, angelic messages. She began reading Tarot, providing numerology and colorology readings, and utilizing automatic writing, in her early twenties. The public's interest in her abilities provided her with many unique media opportunities. She's interviewed psychic masters from The National Spiritual Science Center on National Public Radio, she's appeared with Dick Larsen on Mix Talk, and on WGTB, and WAMU FM on the campuses of Georgetown and American universities. She's conducted psychic readings on-air, on-line and in person. Generally, she requires no outside tools, but uses them on request, unless prompted by her guides. Over all, she receives messages via clairaudient, clairvoyant, and precognitive means.

Her clients come from referrals from friends, family and associates, and they love communicating with Xyra to discuss their goals, Karma, and past-life connections. She welcomes the opportunity to gain their trust, by offering caring, confidential guidance, aimed at assisting them on their spiritual journey. To date, she mostly practices as a solitary reader, but has also been known to work with groups in her yoga and Angel Therapy workshops, and on her psychic radio call-in show.

A talented writer, singer/songwriter, and long-time student of metaphysics, Xyra was born in Munich, Germany, on the Winter Solstice (December 22) during a full moon at dawn. Her natal sun sign is Sagittarius, whose natives are gifted with seeing life's big picture. She also possesses a Grand Trine in air, providing her with intellectual gifts. She lives in Leesburg, VA, with her English musician husband, Andrew (a Capricorn) their Pisces black cat, Fia, and a Leo bronze Newfoundland, Ursa.
